Effective Date: March 31, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SoloOp mobile application, web dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by SoloOp ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
2. Description of the Service
SoloOp provides a field service management platform for solo operators and small service-based businesses, including:
- Smart route-based scheduling and job management
- Client management and communication
- Invoicing, quoting, and payment collection
- AutoPay and recurring billing
- Weather-aware rescheduling
- Expense tracking with receipt scanning
- A web-based admin dashboard and client/accountant portals
The Service is provided "as is" and may change, improve, or be modified at any time.
3. Accounts and Access
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Pricing and Payments
- SoloOp is free to use. There is no subscription fee and no monthly charge.
- When your clients pay by card or AutoPay, a processing fee is applied to the transaction. By default, this fee is added to the client's total — not deducted from yours.
- You may choose to absorb the processing fee in the app's settings.
- Services marked as "High Volume" are charged at a discounted flat transaction fee.
- Cash payments and bank transfers carry no processing fee.
- Pricing structure, fee rates, and features may change with reasonable notice.
5. Payment Processing and Stripe Connect
Card payments and AutoPay are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you onboard with Stripe Connect, you create a Stripe account linked to your SoloOp account.
- SoloOp never holds or has direct access to your funds. Stripe processes the payment and deposits it into your nominated bank account.
- Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.
- AutoPay allows your clients to authorise recurring payments against a saved payment method. You are responsible for ensuring your clients understand and consent to AutoPay before enabling it on their account.
6. Data and User Content
- You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service (including client names, addresses, job details, invoices, and notes).
- By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display this data solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
- We do not claim ownership of your business data.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, including client contact details, pricing, and tax information.
- You may export your data at any time via the CSV export features in the app and web dashboard.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the system
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Upload malicious code or harmful content
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications to individuals who have not engaged your services
We reserve the right to investigate and take action against misuse.
8. Availability and Support
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability.
9. Termination

Upon termination:

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or availability.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoloOp shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business
- Data loss
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the total processing fees attributable to your account in the preceding 12 months.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If you are located outside Australia, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded by contract. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit those rights.
